Norma’s primary role is obtaining funding for SLMH’s programs and services. This is done through grant writing, donor development, and fundraising. In addition, she maintains the company website and the donor database. Norma also participates in agency-wide decisions as a member of the Directors leadership team.
She was born in Los Angles and moved to Eugene in 1989. Norma began working for SLMH in August 2019.
Norma appreciates SLMH’s philosophy of treating all employees like the adults that they are. She also truly appreciates that all health care expenses are paid for, including deductibles and co-pays.
Kayaking, mushroom foraging, sailing, bicycling, gardening, cooking, and playing with her 12-year-old dog, Jax, are a few of the many activities Norma enjoys in her free time.
